2 - Roses - Cala Montjoi - Roses
This route runs along the coast from the beach of Roses to Cala Montjoi, cycling into the Natural Park of Cap of Creus (circular route).
Because it is the end of the Pyrenees, you will meet a small slope that can reach 19% but it is exceptional and very short with the rest you will have no problem thanks to the Burricleta.
It can be done in 2h 30 h , but we suggest that you take your time to enjoy the beauty of this place, its beaches, cultural visits, the fortifications of Punta Falconera , the menhirs and dolmens.
Leaving Burricleta Center you will reach the beach and go along the port of Roses until the lighthouse . Then you will descend to Canyelles Beach and then you will make a small rise steeply and then normalized and reach Punta Falconera. From this place, you can enjoy the beauty of Roses bay and visit the fortifications, but we recommend be done by foot.
After you will descend to Cala Montjoi, where from Easter until the end of summer you will find a Bar and a restaurant to make a good break or bath and recharge yourself , because now you may come back the same way you did. You will take a detour that you will drop to the visit of the menhirs and dolmens. From the top of all you will enjoy magnificent and breathtaking views. Then you will descend until de Menhir of Mas Marés , you must cycling not too fast because you have the risk to lose this visit. Some meters later you will find the Dolmen de la Creu d’en Cobertella, one of the biggest. Finally, you will reach Burricleta Center.
